As they are not out, it is pure conjecture at this point. However, given Emotiva's track record + the built-in EQ system, I think they will be amazing, especially given the hinted at price points.
The Emotiva ones will be sealed and might have a slightly smaller cabinet, so it is hard to say yet how low they will go versus the A7 350. The Emotva price is a lot less than the A7 350 - you are going to get 2 x 12" subs + a DSP EQ system for the same or less than one A7 350. These could be another game changer.

just debating if I should get rid of the 2 a7-350's and get a 212 setup or not. If they 212 compares to the rest of the emotiva line I would think they would be great subs.

If you can sell them and get >$1200 for them I would go for it. This assumes of course they do arrive around January. Maybe sell just one to start with to hedge your bets.

selling them is the problem, each is around 215lbs so shipping would prolly be high.

i doubt I could get much more than 1200 for both.

Id just keep your subs man +1 I believe the eD's will have more low end output than the Emo subs. If you are concerned about EQ, you can get a stand alone EQ like the Velodyne SMS-1 for between $500-$600 or the eD eQ.2 for about $100. I have the eQ.2 with my A7s-650 and it works just fine.

I believe the Emo subs will be clean and tight down to 20Hz. Elemental subs have the capability to play clean down below 15Hz. The choice is yours. I chose to build something in August, since Lonnie told me the anticipated summer release was not going to happen, and I wanted something then. I have not regretted my decision, and should I get a larger theater room, I just may build a second A7s-650.

Interesting - I am in two minds about doing a kit. I'm probably going to hang on a bit longer to see what Emotiva's subs are like, I do want low extension, but the best possible accuracy is of the most importance to me. (Note, I am not saying that any of the mentioned (or unmentioned) subs are not accurate.) Price is also a large factor, I really don't want to pay more than about $1200 + shipping as I will be hit for ~30% on top at import so the price goes up rapidly.
