Sorry to hear about that. How does it sound? After being so pissed Saturday, I had to just let it sit (locked in the office) so it was out of site out of mind for a bit. I want to do a very thorough listening test to compare it with the Belkin and Monster units, which will require several hours. I won't have that chance until at least next weekend. But I will certainly report back with my findings. Cheers ---- Bonzo

Its not easy when you're so involved and passionate about something you get a tremendous amount of enjoyment from (like home theater, music, stereo equipment, etc.), but no one else you know locally cares, or really understands. +1 I feel your pain, it's the same way for me. That's why I like to hang out on the lounge. To have audio discussions with people who actually care about audio, and know what you are talking about.

I really enjoy the guys here (the vast majority of them anyway!), and its really good to compare notes, help out where I can, and get advice in return when I need it. I've really found it helpful to go back and read old threads from start to finish - like that 86 page "Show me your Emo gear" one in the HT lounge, learned alot there too, and got to see many very cool HT set-ups. Fun stuff!. Yeah, I may not have any Emo gear yet - but I've got plans, plans and more plans!

Old thread I know but Bonzo turned me on to the discussion.. so, after having the cmx units, has anyone found out the differences, and are they necessary?
