Did switching cables, inputs still nothing on the lcd at all.. What's puzzling me is that everything else seems ok. Could it be the ribbon cable connecting the lcd board to the main board got loose? Will just call emotiva. Thanks!

Took a close look at the pic from the product page and thought it couldn't be the main board or the power supply board or else the xda2 wouldn't work. Everything is working fine just no display on the VFD. So I opened the top cover check the ribbon cable and connector at both ends. Cable on main board side was slightly off set. Had to re seat cable carefully. Problem solved!

Yup having a great time listening to the XDA-2! Planning to get XRM 6.1 speakers to pair with my mini-X and contemplating on the DC-1! Can't resist the emotiva sale price.

What is the current sate of affairs on this?
Were Emotiva/C-media able to come up with a firmware version which is both stable and has support for a full range of sampling rates through USB ?
