I didn't have a problem when I viewed my copy after I bought it. I haven't watched it since.

I've only run into ONE BD disc that my Yammy BD-S2900 wouldn't play, and that was disc 4 out of the Twilight Zone Season 1 set! (A friends Oppo BDP-93 would play it though!). Otherwise no issues. The Oppos will play pretty much everything. But I've also heard that BD manufacturers are always changing stuff, so occasionally running into a new disc that won't play is not uncommon. Try to find an Oppo to try it out on...

And Oppo are VERY good about updating their firmware to fix "problems" introduced by the studios constantly changing how they author their movies/soundtracks.. Factor in their superb customer service and the fact that they maintain VERY hi re-sale value and you have a combination that is hard to beat.
As I said before, if Oppo ever gets into the HT market by producing a media server and other such devices I will be among the 1st in line to purchase their product. Oppo ROCKS!!

Oppo ROCKS!! -RW- I fully concur with your assessment about the Oppo players. I just bought a BDP 105(my fourth Oppo player) and along with the 103, they had a firmware update ready to go even before it was officially released. You pay more, but, in the end they are excellent value because of the unparalleled performance, after market service and longer "shelf life". While the mainstream companies are already thinking about the next generation model, Oppo continues to do updates on their existing one. Given what the current models are capable of and the direction they are going , your observation about wishing for a media server could be timely. I would almost suspect that the next generation of Oppos will incorporate all those features.
