Love the displays on the combined unit. WANT
But also want a second MINI amp without a volume control in the end

Seperates with a same sized CD player! I say seperates because you could always use Airmotivs instead of an amp.

Yes! I'd buy the top one in a heartbeat!!! This is exactly what I've been waiting for. Is that what the production units would look like? I really love the looks of these. Beautiful! Would the pre use the same chip from the XDA?

Wow, I like the pre-1, it has analog and digital input in one box. Is this digital controlled analog volume like XSP?

I think that price might be in there, if the separates were close to the cost of the single version, separates. If the all in one was just 1.5x the price of separates, might just go with the all in one.

Love the pre-1 and amp1 separates. In the future If/when emotiva will come out with a media server i can hook it up to this system.

This is the best looking gear from Emo since 2007-2008. Love it! I hope it sounds as good as it looks. I would assume that the amp is the same thing as the mini-X minus the volume knob. If so, then it will sound very good. I love my a100.

If this unit has the same precision digitally controlled analog volume of XSP and the same chipset like the XDA, Emotiva would have winner on his hand.

Honestly, I had a hard time voting. I absolutely LOVE the appearance of the eXec integrated. However, the idea of separates is a big reason why I buy Emotiva to begin with. So ultimately, my vote went to the separates. Either way, I have no qualms whichever way Emotiva decides to go. I also agree with geebo on offering a CD player to match the form factor and appearance. This would be an incredibly awesome kit for bedrooms and offices. I never thought I'd say this, but I would sell my ERC-2, XDA-1, and mini-X to buy this set for my bedroom. Well, OK, to be honest, I probably wouldn't sell them, I'd keep them for another system down the road. ;D But my point is this: EMOTIVA, PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!!!

This is part of the mini line, so it seems like there would be some cost cutting. But you never know. Fingers crossed.

First thing I noticed is how small the power buttons are. Are they dimmable? I wish ALL Emo gears have even smaller (compare it to the RCAs at the back) power buttons and dimmable.

Preamp with DAC and hoping its analog volume.
