Unveiled today at the Newport Beach audio show and available for order in 2 weeks.
It has a different transport and sounds fantastic. I have picture but don't know how to attach here on my iphone. Will have to wait when I get home.

I also wanted to get the new ERC-3 but I still have a perfectly good CD player. |

Yup, they just got it this morning and this is the first time they're showing it to the public. If you're in the market for CDP you should get this. |

Interesting. I knew production had ceased on the ERC-2 since Toshiba apparently stopped producing the loading mechanism. Any word on pricing? How did it look cosmetically....big changes? Still slot loading? C'mon, give us something!  Guess I will get to see it in Boston on the 22nd. |

But it has a different loading mechanism now, no longer the slot-type (I think that's how you call it). Price is probably not far from the previous if not the same. |
