i just bought a xpa-2 which replaced a still working 14 yr old parasound amp hca 2003a, i also bought a xsp-1 which replaced a 24 yr old adcom preamp i used for stereo (still works). BIG IMPROVEMENT, now i can combine this 2 channel system correctly with my anthem avm-30 7.1 pre & anthem mca-50 5 ch amp without having to swap the subs back and forth between both systems, the tech guy i spoke with several times before my purchase was very professional and fun to talk to. now i am thinking of replacing the anthem avm-30 with the sherbourne pt-7030 or continue waiting on xmc-1 which i am on the list, i borrowed a bryston 4b st back in 2007 to try out (for front channels) i think the xpa-2 i now own sounds really close.

I had an AVM-30, it's a very nice piece of gear and sounds great, too bad the HDMI upgrade was so expensive. The PT-7030 deal right now is very tempting. Welcome!
