Outside the technical posts, I just wanted to say thanks to Emotiva for coming to Boston. It was nice to meet the people behind the avatars and WAV files.
I also have to say that I found Dan a charming interesting man to talk to. He sheds a glow of enthusiasm for audio and his company!
Also got to talk to Cathy and Sarah. Actually talked to Sarah for a while as both her husband and my oldest son are both in the Navy and in Japan.
Dan was also present when I got caught by my wife Moya making the XPA-1L purchases at the show. That got a smile. Had to explain to my wife that Emotiva is partly a disease and I wouldn't be making any more purchases for a while! Ya, sure!!!!

I see by the pics Jim Milton posted, that Dan really is growing his hair long; I'm jealous. (Anything to do with hair makes me jealous).

...Anything to do with hair makes me jealous). +Ditto My theory of hair as you grow older is that there are 3 types: - The hair that no longer grows
- The hair that changes color
- The hair that grows where none grew before

I had a fantastic time there as well. Really great to see everything in person.
And man was it really cool to hang out with Big Dan.
Everything there was great.

Yup good times were had! I picked up my 2nd xpr-1 there the one that they were demoing for a great price! I really liked the new erc-3! Anyone looking for a erc-2? I'm going to be selling it for the erc-3 that is coming in late August early September. Shhh. Also the pro dac was awesome, so tiny and sexy looking with that huge separate external remote volume knob. The staff was great, awesome people! Thanks Eddie!

So no one talked to Dan about the Emo turntable? Bummer I went to Boston expo and I talked with Dan about the TT, but not about the specs and technical details, I just wanted to apologize for having revealed on the lounge the five other photos I found last week on their website that they remove a few minutes after. Sorry Villock. I did not think to ask for details, because I really love my old GyroDec and I do not think especially to replace it, also my English dialog is a little bit pain for others but Dan was very patient and let me the time to reach my words, great guy, a gentleman. Dan, Cathy and every people from Emo at Boston were very nice, it was a pleasure to meet them.

I too wish to say THANK YOU to the Emotiva team for coming to Boston. This was the first time I got to see their gear in person, and I came away with a very positive feeling toward their products and people.
