Not too far from me is Morrow Cable Company that has been getting a lot of attention lately. I didn't pay them much attention until John Darko who is one of the ultimate audio skeptics, and who picks everything apart, gave them a quite favorable review. I just wondered if any of you had used any of their cables and what your impression was?

I like them, they sound nice with Emotiva gear. Very clear and precise to my ears.

I have a couple of pairs of the mid-grade RCA interconnects. They are a good quality handmade cable. The service from Morrow is very good too.

I have used Morrow audio cableing for a couple years now. I have many pairs of there MA-3 interconnects. I also have a pair of there SP-3 Speaker wires. They are very flexible both interconnects and speaker wires. very well made and very light(weight). Mike is a super good guy to deal with also. He is very helpfull. I believe they have a lifetime guarantee also if they ever get damaged, even user damage. should your cat or dog ever chew them up. I think they are synergenic with my Emotiva gear.

Thanks for the replies. And wow, I did not know about the non-accidental damage thing like animals chewing them up. My daughter got a new pet rabbit a couple months ago. We let him out periodically for exercise. Until I I started hearing static I did not realize he chewed through both surround cables in the back of the room. That's an incredible warranty. I didn't know about the trade-in policy either. I am going to give them a try.

Not second hand cables purchased from private parties on Agon. Mike sells demos (and trade ins) at a somewhat reduced cost. He runs sales all the time, and will email the current promotion.

I have a pair on my second system (McIntosh C28 & MR77, Emotiva XDA-1, Emotiva UPA-1's, streamer & Vienna Acoustic Mozart speakers) and after the break-in time, they really opened up. I like 'em but not as much as the pair I got from Kent (ocezam) right here on the forum!

I've got a pair of Morrow 1 speaker bi-wires. They work fine. I'm putting them on the Emporium soon. PM me if interested.

I have a bunch of Morrow cables. All very good. The better models are much nicer than the #1 or #2's. I have the SP6 speaker cables and MA5 interconnects, as well as a couple of MA3's and MA1's. All very nice. I have also listened and compared SoundSilver cables to Morrow's. The SoundSilver's are about the MA3 level cable in sound, but at about 1/2 the price. Both Mike at Morrow and Stewart at SoundSilver are great guys. Morrow takes a bit longer to get the cables to you and the break in period is very critical. SoundSilver cables for some reason seem to be good to go out of the box. Not sure why. Maybe it's just because I've been "suggested" that the Morrow cables need that long break in. Who knows, but to me it seems to work.
