"Surprisingly?" I think you underestimate David Crosby. There's no clue that the guy is 72 years old. If you like David Crosby's other stuff, you will like the new CD, too.

He's a bit long in the tooth at 72. I've had this CD for a few days and its great. That voice is still there.

Excellent release - as said, 'the voice is still there' - as is the writing. In fact, it made me go back to his 'If I Could only Remember My Name' album of about 1971. I hadn't played it in years and years - so light, detailed, melodic and searching, with enough subtle hippy-type experimenting to give flavor. Then of course I had to go back to Stephen Stills' early work, both solo and as Manassas. These guys are masters both of them - and more so for keeping on keeping on despite all their problems.
