Anyone have any of the uom 6.2 sit up outside? Looking for something for the pool, will be using upa 500 to drive
any other speaker recommendations.

Have it on the patio and I enjoyed, a little bit big but sounding very nice and open for outside difficult condition.

Not worried about the space, rather have good sound, do you run mono or stereo outside?

I have a pair mounted on the house outside for the patio and for the price I think they are a great buy.

They must be especific to outdoor... the UOM 6.2 should work fine but if you have a wall near i think is better an solution in wall. |

I have a pair in the garage and a pair of Klipsch outdoors on the patio. I have been considering swapping because the UOM seem to have a better low end.

Yes I'm using a Polk Atrium sub10 with my UOM-6.2, just because I want the litte low-end plus at low volume, "I'm a bass head", but the UOM-6.2 themself are pretty acceptables in the bass spectrum. The UOM-6.2s are not connected in serie with the sub, they are seperately amplified in daisy chaining by two mini-X A-100, one for the UOM pair and an other for the Polk sub, this way I can adjust the volume seperately on each mini-X A-100 for the UOM and the Polk sub. The signal source came from my UMC-1 zone 2. I hope this will help Cheers, |

They will be great .
I have mine outside under eaves for the patio area,and is powered by a 1970s Rotel-RX-803 reciver that's in my garage.
They sound great.
You wont be disappointed!!
