My SR-120 has no sound coming out of any inputs - analog, HDMI, optical. Chad in support said it's probably the fuse. However, I forgot to ask what type of fuse. When I was removing the cover, I rounded one of the screws and can't take out the cover.
Does anyone know what type of fuse I'm supposed to replace? I'm guessing it's the fuse in the pre-amp board. The video works fine.
I was hoping I'd do one trip to pick up the screw extractor at home depot and glass fuse at Radio Shack/The Source.
Thanks.

I got the cover removed and a couple of the boards removed. I don't see any fuse. Emo tech is of course closed today so just hoping that someone has had the "no audio" problem and can point me to the fuse that I'm supposed to replace.
The manual doesn't contain anything wrt fuse replacement.
TIA.

Hi
I was told same thing by emotiva support when i had the same problem with my first sr -120. I changed the fuses and used the fuses that came with it as spare, and it did not work. after 3 weeks at emotiva, they could not figure it out, so they sent me a bnib replacmeent, which ended up with same problems later. I am almost sure it is not a fuse problem but a flaw in the design.

unit has to be put on its side and there is a panel on the bottom that needs to be unscrewed
