Please respect the voting and dont say you have one when you are only on the list or planning to get one. Only vote if you have it in your house. Working or just waiting to install are the options as I could not put just one question. I am trying to see, and others I am sure will be interested to know how many (post your comments if you want to be identified as an owner) uses here have actually received their units....so we can then see who are the members here and get an idea of the different setups being used with this great processor. Mine is working and I'm loving it.... Please list your setup if you like and also what modes you have...auto or manual and your normal listening levels off the volume displayed. I use around -30 up to -20 the my wife will probably make more noise than I am....but when she is out I'll punch up -15 and maybe a tad more

Running reference stereo for 2 channel sources and direct for multichannel. Xmc-1 to xpa3 and upa500 to Tekton enzo's and a hsu vtf2-mkiv for a sub. Have not noticed the difference from auto modes to stereo.

Perhaps its a good idea to also list the 4 firmware versions you are running...under info in the setup menu

Yes! I have it and it's working! I do not have 2 subs but use both sub outputs - one for the sub and the other for the Buttkicker... can't say I need to EQ the 2 outputs as the kick in the pants seems to be in sync with the sub!

I've had it in the house since Wednesday, and I'm finally getting around to watching some stuff with it. It's in my theater room, so it's dedicated to video. I have all sources plugged into my video processor (iScan Duo), and the 1 HDMI from the Duo to the XMC-1. I have it set on Auto.
I'm surprised at how loud I have to turn it up. I'm running it between -15 and -10. In REW -10 gives my about an 75 dB signal. I'm assuming this is a combination of an amp that puts out 125 wpc (LPA -1), and inefficient speakers (Rocket RS760s). I tried switching from Auto to Surround, but the volume didn't fluctuate bit.

Working, though not tweaked at all. Waiting for the AccuCal guy... Hey Ed, You have Jeff Meier coming to set up the audio for your room? Will he also be doing a video calibration? If so, I look forward to hear your thoughts on what he does.

Hemster what a very good idea...I have 4 Aurasound Bass Shakers from my old setup that I might just do that with. I also only have one sub (SVS-PB13Ultra) so rather than plot I guess 2 channels could be used...or a singe with one balanced and one RCA is also possible.

I hope Dirac is installed by then or I'll have to postpone I guess.. I'm gonna get the $500.00 HT calibration I think

They will only be able to adjust presets 1 and 2 so it should make no difference to them if Dirac is available or not.

I'm gonna get the $500.00 HT calibration I think For the audio calibration, Jeff/AccuCal, will use the P-EQ in the XMC-1 to setup your main listening area optimally. It's done by using a software such as REW or Audyssey Pro to get a target curve and finding the room anomalies, thus fixing those. I've been present, a couple of times, during an audio and video calibration that Chad Billheimer performed and the results are amazing. Geebo is correct, Jeff will manually be calibrating presets 1 & 2, by setting the crossover/distance/P-EQ settings.

Received Friday evening, installed the same evening and verified if everything working correctly, exept the sound missing on standby video everything work great.
Saturday morning I manually setup speakers, distance, crossover, level with sound meter, then after setting completed I was ready for some first critical listening. Wow the sound is astonishing! I was not prepared for that huge increase of SQ over the UMC-1!!! Also note a OSD menu very easy to use.
I also found that the two second zones doesn't work the same way, the zone1 identified doesn't volume controlled independently and work with the main volume, the zone2 identified does controlled with the zone2 independent volume. I didn't found this info in the owners manual.

yes, i have it but i have been afraid to tell the wife. my son's wedding is coming in october and i have been bitching about the cost and the drain on our savings. telling her about the xmc-1 would be catastrophic right now so i probably won't have it in place before november. c'est la vie.......

In house and working...speaker levels, size, and distance set running 2 subs in stereo. Stereo subs is different than what im used to but i kinda like it because when the action is panned for the left or right side you can clearly hear it on that side.I switched to dual mono sub today going to try that out for couple days to see if i prefer stereo subs better. I havent even messed with the peq at all. Sources are htpc running xbmc, xbox1 and oppo bdp-80, and a Ps4
