The thing about Neal Morse is he's such a chameleon musically. He's quite a rocker with albums such as the heavy Sola Scriptura or with Prog Rock bands such as Transatlantic, Spocks Beard, or with his new collaboration with Steve Morse and Flying Colors. This album, Songs From November, is more of a singer songwriters retrospective on life, love and experiences. I like most of the songs, no 30 minute epics like he does with the bands, just well arranged nicely recorded selections that truly speak to his cavernous repertoire and styles. A big change in style, but none the less worth a listen.. It's funny because looks more like a high school teacher than a rocker If you are a NM fan, check it out. As always, samples on iTunes.. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L905E7E/ref=s9_simh_co_p15_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=typ-top-left-1&pf_rd_r=1VGTXCSQHAWTNCJ6GQ7J&pf_rd_t=3201&pf_rd_p=1827489602&pf_rd_i=typ01
