Saw this on facebook. This person has overlapped six popular country songs and the are pretty much the same. I found this interesting.

I remember when I was real young I knew this guy that could read music, write music and play the guitar very good. I ask him when he thought they will run out of things to do with music. That was a kids brain just talking but he looked at me like are you crazy ! He told me the ways of music are infinite. One note, one sound makes a song different. Him telling me that changed the way I hear music that day. But it is comical sometimes how they seem to make songs that sound the same over and over with some genres. Country songs are not the only ones but I have a hard time telling one from the other with a lot of it !

Hard to think that all Western Music, that's pop, jazz, rock, classical, blues and others use only seven diatonic (in key) notes, and an additional five for ornamentation.
Twelve notes, in varying order, harmony and rhythm are all there are.

Yep, this is what happens when the record labels write the songs. Junk.

The mash-up artist was GREAT to track all those together! I wonder how much time he spent doing the sampling / remixing and whether it was worth it...

I know what you mean, a buddy of mine spends that kind of time on projector calibrations and interconnect routing. Lol I can't say I don't either especially for audio calibrations. Love music hobbies.
