Jing Chi is a trio consisting of Robben Ford, Jimmy Haslip and Vinnie Colaiuto and I'm sure like me you know them all well. This live blues rock album is mid paced and more on the blues side of things with several of the songs being real toe tappers. This 2003 CD is easily the best live recording I've heard in a long time and even would rival some of the best studio efforts. Check it out.. As usual, samples on iTunes. www.amazon.com/Jing-Chi-Live-at-Yoshis/dp/B00008ZL6L/ref=pd_bxgy_m_img_z

Hey Porsheguy...I enjoyed that. Thanks for turning me on to music I wouldn't have known about. Keep 'em coming. Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately most guys here aren't into music. They are however very interested in power cords for instance ( XPA-1 Power Cord thread) as the 1100 hits and over 100 responses would so indicate

It would appear so... Sometimes you have to take time out from tweaking and actually do some listening as that is the ultimate goal I would think.

It reminds me of my Dad who owned $50,000 worth of camera equipment but hardly ever used it. He just collected it and made sure he had the best and the latest. I'll but most guys here that obsess over Dirac don't even watch movies . Sad.....

Sooo... according to the above posts, most guys here aren't into music.. and also aren't into movies!! So what are they into then? I can only talk about myself... 85% music, 15% movies approx. 30h/week or so. I'd say that qualifies me as being into something!

I post over and over about (what I think) is interesting music, and no one even comments.. They're all over at the XPA-1 power cord thread arguing.. I give up... Really.

Porscheguy, you are right in that not many have commented but often there's not much to say. They either like it or they don't. I for one do check out the links you post and if I like it I delver further. If not, no big deal (I happen to have a very diverse taste in music). I am grateful for the links to different music that you, Sticknstones, Axis, Metaldude, DYohn and many others post on the lounge.

Well maybe it would help if you posted graphs and measurements of the songs so that we can see what they sound like.
