I have the opportunity to pick one up for under $400. I recall it being a solid value back in the day and it would seem like a hard amp to beat (if at all) in the sub $500 category, even for two channel listening.
Thoughts?

Most amps are solid when new however the cases get a bit mushy as time goes on...

I will definitely poke various areas of the case before buying to confirm the absence of squishyness.

I picked one up for $250 Canadian funds about a year ago(smoking deal IMO) and use it to power my zone 2 and 3 speakers and the rears in my HT setup, it's a great amp IMO
