The 1812's look interesting but I dread where the pricing will be on those...

pop. I think almost all their speakers can be classified that way But I sure want one! They used to have the OB sigma. I guess it's back now. He used to have smaller versions called OB 4.5 which stood on top of subwoofers.

I'm not sure why everyone is saying they are ugly. They are very plain, but I don't find them ugly. I've seen much worse.

They supposedly do a very nice automotive grade finish much like Wilson. Talking about ugly, Wilson's are mostly uglier than these guys if you ask me. Except the new model which I like actually. Ugly Wilson Nice Wilson

Yeah, those Wilson's take the grand prize...I really don't care what they sound like when they look like that! Those are "double-baggers"!

I've heard a few open baffle speakers in the last year and the concept solves so many problems. If they weren't so ugly, I would be on the road to getting a pair.

Yeah me too teaman . I think the 1812 must be all kinds of bling. But unfortunately even with my love for big speakers, I know that it's going to be impossible to sound good in my tiny living room.
