I stumbled across this as an accident. On PC..... Youtube appears to have switched over froom flash to an HTML 5 player. The HTML 5 kept crashing after some time and forcing youtuube to restart in flash. And I realized that flash player sounded better. Well at least louder. So I wonder if the way they were doing this was transcoding the audio from the flash player to HTML 5 and experiencing some degradation. Either way there appears to be some change in audio whether better or worse. Anybody notice a difference? Sorry I'm not sure how to show you how to switch between HTML 5 and flash to compare. Mine just kept crashing forcing the switch between HTML 5 and flash
