I've noticed the sound when I'm watching general TV lately seems to have this "echo" quality to it; sounds like it is from the center channel. Not sure if it has something to do with my AVR? Maybe an issue with running the center off the XPA-3, but the fronts off of monos? (used to run L/C/R all off the XPA-3) Bad speaker? Haven't been watching many/any movies lately really so haven't noticed it there. Tried playing around with the different settings on the Yamaha (Movie Mono, Movie Spectacle, etc.), didn't seem to change much.
Any thoughts?

Is your TV volume muted or turned off?

As per the others... but, if your TV volume is actually off, then check your distance settings in the AVR for the front and center speakers; make sure they are reasonably accurate, otherwise a slight delay from either will give a slight echo effect when the dialog is present in both center and fronts.

Another vote for TV volume as if it is on it will be delayed vs. Going to amps etc. Your echo.

Some receivers also have a setting that allows the center speaker sound to be placed further back or forward than normal.

I'll double check on that, but have to say the only thing I changed was adding the XPA-100s; things were fine before that.
