Hi everybody, I have an issue with this preamp, I'm not using it at the moment, everything is perfect except for the preouts, I have used a number of different cables including split tips, I have to keep wiggling the connections to keep the sound going, I would like ideas before I decide to send it for repair, it's not the amp, it's the preouts, it should be simple so even RadioShack can do it but I'm trying to avoid sending it to be repaired, this is my second setup, I might sell it but I don't want the potential buyer to go through this, any thoughts?

Hello there.
So, what's your question exactly? Is it easy to be repaired?
It sounds like it does need to be? (If I'm reading your post correctly)

(If I'm reading your post correctly) Should I try interconnects with a thicker center pin so the connections are tighter, if so which ones, I mean once contact is made it's fine until a while later that I have to wiggle it to make it stable,it's the only thing happening, everything else is working like new...

I think it's worth sending to get the preouts replaced, since it's the only thing happening with it, it's been taken care of for 15 years, not the latest codecs, but what it does it does it wonderfully, perfect for a second system, especially for music, not to mention THX done right...
