Hi - I used to have a Screen Innovations Solar white Screen to which my JVC DLA projector was calibrated. I have now replaced it with a Screen Innovations Slate Gray screen - should I recalibrate the projector? While the contrast looks great, the picture appears (to my eye) to not be as bright as it wos before.
Any suggestions or observations would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
Ollie

I would at least re check your black level and white level settings. If it were me I would run a full calibration again, as I am sure the color tracking is probably a little different from one screen to the next, and I am sure your gamma has also changed.

If you used DIY calibration discs like DVE, Spears & Munsil or Disney WOW, why not re-run it to check to make sure your contrast, brightness, color, sharpness, color temperature levels are still correct. If you had your projector professionally ISF calibrated I'd contact the calibrator and ask what they recommend, as most have a touch up calibration special for returning customers.
