A friend tasked me with advising her on a speaker system to be used primarily for TV sound, iPod Classic connectivity and likely Bluetooth. As much as I wish I could convince her to let me put together an AVR and speaker system, she is firm on wanting a single speaker that's easy to use. She's been looking at Bose but I have a real problem with that potential solution. I initially thought about a sound base but she may want to move this to other rooms on occasion. She also has no requirement for multi-room streaming so I left Sonos out of the mix. I've heard stellar things about the Peachtree Deep Blue 2 and really like other PT products I've owned but I'm sure there are other options that should be considered. Price does need to be under $400. - single piece of equipment (pair of speakers unacceptable) - analog input - optical input - Bluetooth (nice to have) Recommendations greatly appreciated.
