Try to come up with a theme. It can be as simple as a color or a geometric shape. Lots of people use movies as a theme classic films, cult films, blockbusters ect. Once you have a theme it gets a lot easier for people to make specific recommendations.

If you have a lot of Emo gear one of these would be a nice touch. Cheap too!

Dedicated or shared room? If it's dedicated, I would kill two birds with one stone... DIY acoustic panels using printed movie poster type images on breathable material. Something along these lines: Huge thread over at AVS on how to make these

If you have a lot of Emo gear one of these would be a nice touch. Cheap too! I have one of these to the side of my plasma. I'm surprised it didn't crack or get broken going through the USPS but it does look nice.

I'll have you know that in a national test by a famous consumer magazine that the USPS tested out as more gentle/less damage with packages/parcels sent in the US versus both UPS and Fed Ex. If budget allowed, I would love to have either movie poster light boxes. Even better, portrait oriented LCD panels displaying posters from an image server. I think some folks in this forum have done so.
