I just bought a used XMC-1 and when I went to power it up it will turn on from the remote. One on the Emotiva logo and the loading bar both show up on the display. After waiting 5+ minutes it still never finished loading the operating system. Is there some way to force the unit to do a hard reset other than through a software option, since I can't get into it?
Thanks.

I'd talk to the person who sold it to you. If you paid for it via PP (best way IMO) you can start a 'not as advertised' claim after 7 days. It's best to try to work it out with the seller first though. Once you file a PP claim it may piss off the seller.

Thanks for the advice. I really hope I can just get it working because I would love to be able to listen to this thing tonight. I bought it through a dealer and I believe I have a 90-day return window, so that should give me some time to see if I can do some sort of a hard reset and get it to load and start working.

I'd also contact Emotiva and talk with their Tech Support about your issue.

That's a good suggestion to call the seller right away as well. Thanks
