Hope someone can chime in and help me out with this. My XMC-1 recently stopped outputting the signal on #2 output. This happened once before and it was a chore just to find out why I wasn't getting a signal from all my inputs. What I found was output #2 wasn't passing out the video signal from any output. Once I plugged into output #1 it worked. After a couple of days I plugged back into #2 to watch a 4k movie from my panny dvd player and it was working again. Never found out why. This morning I turned the system on and problem is back. As it is now no 4k UHD pass thru. Has anyone heard of or ran across this problem?

When is the last time you did a complete shut down? Flip the switch on the back to off and unplugged the unit? Sometimes this straightens out things. Most anything with a processor will benefit. From a PC, Mac, Phone and even a processor. My Oppo was recently cured of some squirrely activity by doing this. And this was at the recommendation of an Oppo tech. Especially when we leave our units to Quick On instead of full shutdown. Give it a try and let us know. Good Luck 👍

Since you're referring to 4K and HDCP2.2, I'm assuming you have the v2 HDMI board. If this is the case, are you aware that only 1 input and 1 output support HDCP 2.2 ?

Yes I'm aware of that thanks. Input #8 and output #2 I second Nick's suggestion above, backup settings and perform a factory reset. If this doesn't work, then more information is necessary to track this down. You say, "As it is now no 4K UHD pass thru." Does this mean none of your 4K sources are being passed thru? What about HD/1080p? What are your 4K sources? Have you checked your HDMI cables?

Thanks guys,
Yes I did the factory reset and it made no difference. When I say no pass thru, nothing was going through output #2 but sound, No video from any source 4k or 1080p. The good news is I did the shut down on the back and unplugged it. Then plugged into output #2 and its working again. Thanks for the suggestion guys. Id still like to know whats going on.

The XMC is more computer than pre pro, it runs linux and sometimes computers just need a reboot. Its kinda like working too much and you need some time off to reset.
