Can a XPA 5 Gen 2 Amplifier Be Upgraded To 7 Channels?

Hello World - Newbie Here.

Can a XPA 5 Gen 2 amplifier be upgraded to a 7 channel system?
Looking at the Emotiva website I see the XPA 5 Gen 3 can be upgraded to 7 channels.  I can also see that the front panel of the XPA 5 Gen 3 appears to accommodate the additional 2 LEDs whereby the XPA Gen 2 may not.  I don't know if I would need the 2 additional LEDs - or would I?

No. The gen 3 was the first expandable amp.
