Hi Guys, Looking for help here from you most helpful people. For a few months now my XMC-1 has been doing something strange, SOMETIMES. Occasionally when I change inputs, usually to my TV, I will get very low volume, garbled sound. At first I was thinking my TV signal was messed up, sounded like gerbils had taken over the TV station, quiet ones. Maybe chipmunks. I tried turning it up to really hear what was going on, it was just low level messed up sound. Outta frustration I changed back to my old input, no problem. Then back to the TV and it worked fine. This has happened several times, once in a while it happens on a different input, like the one my computer is on. I can always "fix" it by changing inputs and then coming back. Anyone else experiencing this and know what is going on? Will I just have to live with this problem the rest of the XMC-1 days? Thanks for any help, God Bless, Wayne

At first my reaction was no, haven’t heard it, but chipmunks rang a bell (don’t know what gerbils sound like 🤷♂️). Once, about a month ago, my system went into a condition like you describe, almost no sound with little chirps and warbles popping through, I would have probably tried to describe it technically as improper decoding of the digital audio. I think once it occurred (possibly triggered by changing inputs) it stayed with any input I choose until I either rebooted, or maybe had to do a rocker switch power off. Since then it has not reoccurred, it was a couple months after installing the V3 board.

^^^^ You've described it better than I did. Never found out the cause though? Thanks, God Bless, Wayne
