Well low and behold an XPA-2 came up for sale close to me so of course I couldn't pass it up, my buddy picked it up for me so I will have it when returning home, it will run my mains and then I can go back to the XPA-5 powering my center, rears and outdoor UOM speakers Actually a picture of one I used to own but the one I just bought(again) has silver trim

Recently picked up the same kind of bike I sold in '00 only this one is in better condition with lower miles. Had to go to WI to get her though. '85 Yamaha Maxim X 700 liquid cooled, shaft driven. Nice little short range cruiser. Scott

Love the red interior! I was looking at a white with full red interior but it had mechanical woes. My triple black has perfect interior and mechanicals, and a new top/headliner is part of the deal, but the paint needs lots of attention. It's a two owner, under 30k miles, checked out by Porsche with their Pre Purchase Inspection (bought it somewhere else).

This guy really pampered it and never rode in rough weather, that's for sure. The Maxim was Yamaha's answer to the c.c. limitation the US put on Japanese bikes in ~'84. It only lasted 2 years but they were limited to nothing bigger than 700 c.c.'s So they came out with a 5 valve head, dual overhead cam, small cc bike that makes 90hp and 50 lb/ft tq. Pretty fun for a bike that sits at about 500 lbs. This one only has 6700 original miles. This guy still had the original tires on the thing. Scott

See the "Boomzilla's Journey" thread. Testing is ongoing... Yeh!,,,,,but that thread is ALMOST as uppidie as the MBS!,,,,,,,,he,,,,,,he,,,,,,,,he,,,,,,,,,,,, just kidding, thanks, keep posting, shame you couldn't rebuild the interior of thCV and make them sound better, maybe a thicker inner wall and better reinforcement,,,,,,ah,,,,but then they wouldn't be CVs.

LOL I dropped off the bike on my way home at our local bike shop for a new set of Dunlops. The guys stayed a bit late to put them on for me. I'd be terrified to attempt any stops on those crusty old bologna skins. Scott
