Hey gang, long time no been but back now and excited.
Bought some gear and the first thing I hook up and has an issue is a UMC-1. Supposedly a NOS that had been updated a "couple" years ago. So I hook it up and begin trying to set it up. Issues:
1. No video out
2. Audio out goes from No audio to Dolby Digital and back and forth every few seconds.
3. Fighting to get through the menu and select options as it closes the menu out after usually a few seconds unless I disconnect almost everything.
I attempted to read the FW version currently on the unit and it isn't working through the three button sequence.
I attempted to access the FW update software and the site doesn't respond.
Is the UMC-1 the way of the dinosaur at this point? I had some minor glitches when I had my first UMC-1 but this has me even more nervous at this point.
