My refurb xmc-1 has been working fine. Suddenly today I’m getting no output to any of my speakers regardless of the input or volume setting. All lights on the display are normal. Any thoughts?

Try a cold boot using the rear power switch. Off for 60 seconds, then back on.

Thanks. The “cold boot” worked. The obvious question- why did this happen and is it likely to recur.?

Thanks. The “cold boot” worked. The obvious question- why did this happen and is it likely to recur.? A number of possibilities. Could be sequence related. Could be component mixture related. Could be CEC related. Could just be a fluke. These things are basically computers that need reboots on occasion. Knowing the components in your system could lead to someone here having an idea about what to look for.

I wouldn’t lose any sleep over that unless it happens again. How are your amps. triggered?
