The description of these brackets say they can tilt down around 13 degrees, but in the photo it looks more like 40 degrees. Can anyone that has them verify?
My current brackets don't angle down very much, and they are mounted quite high, I don't think the tweeters have enough vertical dispersion.

Bear in mind, the dispersion characteristics of the tweeters themselves may be more impactful then a perceived angle 📐 your trying to attain.

Yes, I'm concerned about the vertical dispersion, apparently it is quite narrow compared to the horizontal. Last night we used the built in levels test tone on the receiver. Sitting on either end of our 3-person couch, the further rear speaker sounds louder than the closer one. I'm thinking this is because the vertical dispersion is wider the further you are from the speaker. The closer speaker is too close to be in the dispersion zone, the sound is going our our heads. I suggested we lower the speaker height, which resulted in a frown from my wife. One of them would be somewhat in the way when going between the kitchen and family room.
