I should also disclose this has always been only an academic exercise for me here in Australia as the K catalogue is not available here due to legal restrictions. To clarify - the units can be used here but there is no access to the K library available. A VPN and a USunlocked account will sort you out of that conundrum. That combination is used frequently by overseas users wishing access to the US Kaleidescape store

That combination is used frequently by overseas users wishing access to the US Kaleidescape store Thanks 👍 But for me the costs of K are way beyond my budget. For example in comparison I could get a used Zidoo uhd3000 here for AUS$1000 with an installed drive and start transferring uhd disk's to it if that's my preference. At present I'll stick to a oppo203 and uhd disks - although a Zidoo or similar may be an option soon. And back on topic reply - I believe these options would all work without issues with Emotiva G3P devices

Just a quick initial follow up on this. So far, no video or audio problems with the Kaleidescape system running through my RMC-1, but I've only seen perhaps two hours of material so far.
I haven't had a BlueRay disc player in my system, so this is a huge jump up in audio and video quality for me vs the streaming sources I have available.
