With streaming becoming the dominant source these days, I'm just curious how many actual sources do you have connected to your processor?

5 sources connected at all times, and all but one are used a lot.
In order of usage: TiVo EDGE, TV4K, Mac mini, UB820, TiVo Roamio Pro. Additionally connected at times: OPPO BDP-105

I voted 4 connected to my RMC-1L, however by far the Apple TV4K gets the most use, then a toss up between my Audio Lab 6000CDT and Mac Mini M1 music server. While I still have an Oppo 203 it rarely gets used especially for Blu Ray content. So for all intents and purposes, 3 or 3.5 sources might be closer to correct for me. I have considered an outboard DAC again, but the internal RMC DAC is really quite good.
Whoops, left one out, Tubes4Hifi PH-16 phono stage via RCA cables.

Five devices, DirecTV C61K, Oppo UDP-203, TV4K, Mac mini 2018, Fender Turntable — all used regularly. Except for the turntable all are HDMI and 4K capable, some have multiple connections; Oppo (HDMI & Coax), Mac mini (HDMI & USB). I suppose I actually have six as I use the Balanced In as a feed from my studio system. With a rural fixed wireless Internet connection, streaming doesn’t give the quality of 4K disks or even DirecTV, but the TV does still get a lot of use. I guess the question as posed is 6, but if it was phrased “how many inputs do you use?”: (4) HDMI, (1 ea) Analog RCA & Bal, (1 ea) S/PDIF Coax & TOSLink, (1) USB (looks like I’m up to 9) Edit: Looking through some photos, found one of my RMC-1’s backside 🤭

No streaming here, thanks to country living and inferior internet. Only BR player, DISH receiver, laptop and Bluetooth.

With streaming becoming the dominant source these days, I'm just curious how many actual sources do you have connected to your processor? Lonnie Primarily three: PC, AppleTV and OPPO 205; all HDMI. I also have a phono preamp and cassette deck attached ... just in case. 95% I use the first two, and use both to stream from Calm Radio and Apple Music. About 10k files of high res music and ripped CD's play from the PC also.

Six devices here. Xfinity X1, Panasonic UB820, Zidoo Z10, Topping E50, ATV4K, Oppo 203. All are connected via HDMI except the E50 which is connected to Balanced In. The Xfinity X1 and Panasonic are connected via an HDFury Integral II so they only take one HDMI input on the RMC-1L. So I'm using four HDMI inputs and one Balanced input.

Seven:
> TiVo Bolt for traditional cable and DVR > Oppo 203 > PS 5 > Roku Ultra > Apple TV > Fire TV+ > Nvidia Shield (2019)
AND, one open HDMI port used for connecting laptops, phones or tablets for conferencing when the wireless link doesn't cooperate.
WHY this many? Simple: No device has every streaming service that one wants. Some are NOT in the Google TV/Android TV eco-system, and some occasionally drop or are not yet added to one device or another. Remember the fun when HBO Max, Peacock and Disney+ were launched? Remember when Fox Sports almost pulled their app with 4K availability for the Super Bowl a few years ago?
Also looking to swap one thing out to another room, probably the Fire TV, when I get an ATSC 3.0 DVR box. Probably from Tablo but maybe from Zapper. Have an HD HomeRun and HATE it's awful user interface.
Such is the life of an HT nut.

Prior to moving and dismantling my HT, I had two sources... NVidia Shield for streaming and an Oppo Blu-ray player. In my current 2 channel setup, I have 1 source; a Cambridge streamer used as a Roon endpoint. My new HT plans are on hold, but I plan to only have one source, an Nvidia Shield for video.

Personally, I’ve been on a mission to scale down the number of connected devices to only the ones that I really need. For me, those devices are…
HDMI: - Tivo Mini 4K VOX - AppleTV 4K - Zidoo Z1000 Pro - Oppo BDP-203
USB: - Mac Mini (running Audirvana remotely)
Analog: - Phono Pre
All of my other redundant devices (streaming boxes, Blu-ray players, CD players, etc…) have been either boxed up and put away or given to my kids or other family members.
Truthfully, I don’t miss any of it…
