I setup the RMC-1 with XLR's out to an XPA-5 and an XPA-8 (0.4s) and I am getting no signal out of my XPA5 from the rear two channels which are slots 4 and 5, the far right two channels when looking at the rear of the amp. The fronts and center work great. I spent a ton of time in the menu system making sure all was setup in there, probably some issues, but further testing reveals something might be up with two cards in the XPA5:
I took the XLR from the Front left on RMC to Channel 2 on the XPA5, which worked fine, and moved the destination of that XLR to the rear left channel 5 on the XPA5, rebooted the amp and processor, and still nothing. Switched it back to the original Front left channel and rebooted, worked fine. I also checked the continuity of the speaker wires, all the connectors, of course made sure the source switch on the card slot was in the XLR position. So far from my testing the XLR cable is good, the speaker wires are good to the wall plates, the wall plates to the speaker and back running a loop across red and black shows excellent near zero resistance. I took the rear speaker and plugged it into the front wall plate for the front main speakers, its working just fine. Seems I might have an issue with the XPA-5 card slots 4 and 5? Anyone think of any other reason this is going on? The amp is brand new, first time trying to run it yesterday when I got the RMC-1 back. Thanks!

Fuses maybe? I had a couple of blown fuses on my XPA-5 Gen 1 a few years ago. Everything powered up fine, just no sound. I opened it up, and sure enough two blown fuses. They were easy to replace.

Are the rear switches on the XPA-5 set to XLR or RCA ??

^^ He's using XLR and stated that the switches were in the XLR position.

I’d bet something has come unseated, maybe during shipping. Personally I’d pop the hood and just look for the most obvious of loose connectors, especially the wires/plugs that lead from channels 4 and 5 that lead to the power supply, and to be on the safe side, unplug the power amp and let sit while. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this give tech support a call and see what they have to say.

Well I popped the hood, pushed a few connectors all the way on, checked interfaces where easily accessible, and put back together. Magic! 7.1.6 is now fully working! Sound from all channels and ready to move to the next phase: Dirac setup! Thanks everyone for the suggestions!

Man UPS is rough on the packages in your area, seems stuff is being tossed around by someone ?? but the way your packages are arriving is crappy. Glad it is sorted out though
