I've been using an MC1 pre/proc for about three months now, and it's working pretty flawlessly. Except the other day. On Thursday I spent the evening listening to music, then watched some shows, before going to bed. The next day, I turned it on as I always do, and the video monitor informed me that it wasn't connected to an ARC enabled port, which it is, and said "No Signal". I normally turn on the system using the remote for an Apple TV device, which also turns on both the TV and the processor set to the correct inputs and this happened as it should, so the CEC features are working. After much troubleshooting, I found that the video output of the processor had been changed in settings from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2. I normally keep it set to 1 and not "Both". Once I connected the TV to output 2, I was able to change the setting back to 1, and everything is fine again.
Has anyone had this experience, or have any idea how this might have happened and how to stop it from happening?

I haven't heard of this happening before... but it is a single button on the remote control. Therefore: 1. Perhaps someone accidentally bumped the button on the remote. 2. The MC1 may have received a bit of noise on its IR remote control sensor and misread it as that command. (Noise can come from anything... from another remote control, to an LED bulb, to even the backlight from a TV screen, or sunlight striking the front of the unit.) 3. It could have been some sort of "random glitch" that occurred when the MC1 started up or shut down. I wouldn't worry about if it doesn't keep happening...
