After reading all the cable threads I still can't figure out if there will be custom kits for the X-series speaker cable. Anybody have a definitive answer??

We shouldn`t have to fool with a kit anyway, they should step up and start making X cables of ALL types in more usable lengths.

We shouldn`t have to fool with a kit anyway, they should step up and start making X cables of ALL types in more usable lengths. Included in that adjustment to cable lengths, they need to be able to provide a proper cable to fit their top amp, the XPA-1. With the spread of the positive and negative terminals, a cable would need to cover a gap of 13 inches. Not problem for all but since it is their best they need to provide for it!

What lengths? Pssshha... You already know what lengths. Stack up 3 EMO Amps, a CD player and Preamp. Now take out a ruler and measure then add 6" for clearance. You'll find that there's about 4 sizes that encompass just about every conceivable configuration. Of course I'll be happy to do it for ya but you'd have to pay me in "X" series cables. ;D

What lengths? I would take some 1m. according to the poll , the most popular choice is 1m, however I also did not make the poll multiple choice, so people could only pick one size. I say just come out with all sizes... Dan

How about some bi-wire cables that fit the XPA-1.

There should really be some longer speaker cables for the surrounds. An 8M cable should be available as well as a 12M for rear surrounds.

Dann posted in a thread started by user name spoon that there will be a x series banana connection kit. Also if you check the photos done by spoon, it looks like where the cable splits from the bundled tech flex to the two serperate cables that the black plastic piece is held on by two screws. If you could remove this, you could then cut back the tech flex put the plastic back on and have a working cable for the XPA-1.

Old thread but relevant. I bought the U-Series Terminal Connection Kit and went to work dressing my amps out last night, starting with the three XPA-1s.
My little mini-review is these things look good, span the gap on the XPA-1s and although, with my fumble fingers, took a little bit of time to set up, it was not at all difficult. For $10 the quality is there and I am pleased. I may pick up a few more just to create some very short cables to my speaker wall plugs. So...... I like them and am not so sure that we all need short length
cables. It's a great little product. It is also my first Emotiva accessorry.

A 1.5 meter for the center channel would be nice.
