Just curious I recall seeing some of the possible specs but not sure if they had prices listed? Anyone know what they were?

Those were original prices. I know some production costs have gone up. Only time will tell if they hold steady on price.

Read that production prices have increased? They talked about it in a webcast for the UMC-1. I assume production prices have gone up across the board.

Not to mention that the ERS series subs have been totally redesigned with all new components with more robust construction and a brand new, more powerful amp. It will be very interesting to see what the final price will be.

I hope it doesnt wander to far up from this price, but i'm sure it will. Hmmm i wonder if they would honor the $999 price for those that pre-ordered it ;D

If it does go up, I doubt it will be by much.

Wow that will pretty much eliminate me then at 999. I would do the 499 but wouldnt spend a bunch more than that for a sub although Im sure there would be a noticeable difference.

When you consider what the proposed package is, $999 is a STEAL! As with everything $999 will be a bargain for some, and to much for others.

Keep in mind the $999 was for dual subs that had a completely separate amplifier that could be plugged into a computer for room EQ adjustments.

Oh gotcha! Well I guess that is what I was asking in the post! I dont see any specs or details anymore does anyone have that link? Two would work out for me great since my main fronts arent all that big on the bass end.

There is a new board for subwoofers with with a post on the U series (cheaper ones). Plus some more details on the ERS models in that thread. Well worth a read.
