Just curious to know the net weigh of UMC-1 ? I am on the 2nd pre-order list. Have a friend travel to USA in mid-March this year who may hand-carry it to me in Hong Kong. So I want to balance his in-conveniece against my pocket.

I can only get the size of UMC-1 in the product page (17"x 3 7/8" x13") but not the weght. BTW, can I assume the FedEx freight is directly proportional to weight?-i.e. e.g. UPA-7 for $160 (84lbs) so 20 lbs it would be about $40.

Don't know if this helps but a USP-1 sent to Australia cost $134 for freight, the USP is 14lbs but I think most couriers also take into account the size of the carton. |
