Pacific Rim in 4K. For a fan of kaiju films, this is a guilty pleasure.

Lmao. What?!? Top 20 of all time?? By who?? This couldn’t be more of a false statement. Was it good yes. I wouldn’t even put it in top 100 of all time though. Easily. Heath Ledger’s performance was indeed excellent.

The only DC movie to date that was worth watching was Wonder Woman. I am going to disagree on this. The Christopher Nolan trilogy is by far DC’s greatest work. The Dark Knight is considered one of the top 20 movies of all time with The Dark Knight Rises top 100. Wonder Woman was enjoyable but not even close to the same class. Heath Ledger’s performance has no equal. To be honest, I completely forgot the Christoper Nolan/Christian Bale Batman trilogy. You indeed are correct, I to believe these to be quite worthy movies along with Wonder Woman, so I stand corrected. However the latest Justice League movie was good, but not up to the level of the aforementioned movies. .......and yes Heath Ledger's Joker performance was quite good, but without Christian Bale, I don't believe the Dark Knight trilogy is successful.

No one was considers it a top 20 film. Don’t claim “it’s considers it top 20 of all time” It’s not even top 5 of Nolan’s movies for that matter

Fun entertainment, not meant to be critically reviewed. As such it is an enjoyable movie. I think that is also what you are saying, so I'm definitely in agreement. Werd.

You're going to have to work a lot harder than that, but keep your chins up ol' boy.

This is due out May 8 as a UHD blu-ray. I bet the Omaha Beach landing will be absolutely killer in a Atmos/DTS:X setup.

Finally watched this last night, no expectations, just the Mrs. myself our HT system and some 🍿 popcorn!
We loved it! Lots of fun and some good winks, nods and one liners. The system and subs got a nice workout and we will watch this one again. We’ve waited since release to watch at home, a few more weeks waiting for the XMC-1 / RMC-1, we can do standing on our heads! LOL

4k just doesnt cut it really, the difference i experienced from VHS to DVD was like OMFG and then BD came along and i was skeptical but it was everything you could have hoped for another OMG. But 4k isnt like that, you know its like the first time you smoke crack and then you just chase that feeling but you never find it again.

Yeah, if you ponder the literally hundreds of sounds the designers can utilize for the June 6 scene, the Atmos mix could be stunning. I'm also curious if the 45 degree shutter technique used in camera will be even more pronounced in UHD. Could be just incredible.
