I haven't had any trouble with any of my CDR's on my ERC-1. I have quite a collection of them myself.

As long as they are done correctly, closing the session when burning for example, there should be no problems. I am using data CD-R discs created on my computer without a problem.

Doug Same here Doug. Have not had the slightest problem with many different brands of blanks. I have also burned some on the "music" blanks with a high-end tascam CD burner. All have played flawlessly on the ERC-1.

I have not had any problems. I'm temporarily out of the Taiyo Yuden's that I normally use for cd & dvd use, but even the crappy Memorex CD-R's that I bought at WalMart work fine so far.
