Okay, that's about all I have worth posting. This was the first show for this event. I happen to know one of the organizers through a friend. From what I found out yesterday, because of me mentioning Emotiva, the event organizers contacted the Emo staff to see if they wished to attend. And obviously they said "Yes". The event was held on three floors of the hotel and in the convention center area. Most vendors had regular guest suites that were cleared out in a fashion like "The Show" and "Rocky Mountain Audio Fest". I spent the whole day there visiting the rooms many times and trying to get a chance to liosten to every system. Unfortunately for me, most of these guys are "vinyl nuts" and were auditioning all of the equipment with albums........pops, hiss, skips and all. I understood before attending what this event was all about and who it was going to be catered for. When you get to this level money is absolutely no object and if it's expensive it must make the system sound better. It was actually funny when somebody asked one of the Emo staff how much the ERC-1 cost and the person thought they heard $3,999.00 and said how reasonable that price was. When they were corrected that the price was $399.00 they thought the price was unheard of and couldn't be true. So that goes to show you, Emotiva needs to have special higher prices for these types of events. ;D

Thanks very much! Keep those pics coming. And please also take pics of forum members (if they are ok with that) and annotate them so that we know who is who and what they look like. Again, thanks for your effort. It is much appreciated. Sorry, I try not to take pictures of people during these types of events. Some people get offended if they know their picture will be out in the public. Besides, some of the Emotiva forum members are in Witness Protection.

It can't possibly by any good if it's inexpensive. I like the idea of a different price structure for these shows. I suggest 10X the normal list price, with the profits made off any show sales going to fund the next Emofest. Nice pictures by the way. Looks like a few new ideas floating thorugh that show.

I had a real hard time taking pictures with my little camera in most of the rooms. They were either really dark or really crowded. I left my wide angle lens and flash in the car since I really didn't plan on taking pictures till Tom Andry showed up and shamed me into it.

Great job and some really interesting designs. I could not believe how many turntables were featured and some of the designs for them seemed pretty far out! I definitely would be a great time and really bring home our practicality in choosing the Emotiva series in the way we do.

I see a turntable in the Emotiva 2-channel room. Does anyone know anything about that?
