Outlaw gives up on the 997

I got an email this morning from Outlaw that they are giving up on the 997 (which was going to be a modified Sherwood 972) due to all of the bugs in the 972. They have decided to start over and design a new unit from scratch. It looks like the new design will be a competitor for the XMC-1. It will supposedly support HDMI 1.4, 3D , etc. I think Emotiva has a good opportunity to beat them to the punch if they can get the XMC-1 out in time.
