I was wondering if anyone tried connecting the digital out of the UMC-1 to a dac? I know it outputs only PCM. Does it convert 44.1 to 48 or leave it alone? Does Direct vs Stereo apply to digital out? I see you can apply DSP effects but and I think EQ but I'll have to try that again. I can say its quit a big difference in sound playing the same source on the UMC-1 and Theta basic transport to the theta Pro Gen Va.
