I completed the build of the center speaker. Sorry, forgot to take pictures! Anyway, now I have to figure out the digital crossover using REW and miniDSP 4x10HD. First: get it in the open and measure it.

Also did more on the screen construction. Added 24 cm thick heavy fiberglass and covered it with cloth.




Also finished the first of the coaxial Volt-like speakers designed for Surround. It sounds fantastic: powerful bass (with two passive radiators) and clear high using my wife's mini Yamaha receiver. The parts for one kit including shipping and VAT come to $430. I am thinking of using the coaxials only for the Top speakers and not for Surround. I actually have a pair of Cinema 10 Max kits on order. These are WTM design with a 10" SEOS horn. Price about $600 each including shipping, duties and VAT.

I have not seen house pix lately...is it done? Would love to see an update!

There has been progress in the house but not in the HT. My electrician threw in the towel so I had to find another one. Which I did, but this larger company is not giving me the progress I would like to see neither...

So without power in the HT, there's little point in moving gear over there. Patience!



I just moved the big center to a spot where I can experiment with the active crossover.

And I ordered another pair of DIYSG Cinema 10 max kits plus the parts I need to make the 4 on-ceiling speakers.

By the beginning of next Summer, the ground level with the HT, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and office should be fully functional, but probably not finished in every detail. Then another year to finish the first floor, which is simply a very large puristic 175 m2 open plan day and night listening room ahum, space (where I bought my Jamo's for... in 2010!).

Garden is also progressing, heavy work is done there. Planting next Spring.
