There have been a number of posts where people were asking to what extent, if any, bitstreaming was able to work with the UMC-1 using an HTPC. I have the following setup working:
Intel DH55TC motherboard (BIOS and drivers current as of 03/17) i3 530 8GB (4 x 2GB) Win7 x64 Intel SSD 40GB (AHCI mode) TMT3 (with 170 patch)

What graphics chip, one of the Intel on-board ones? GMX something? Or do you have a card plugged in?

What graphics chip, one of the Intel on-board ones? GMX something? Or do you have a card plugged in? The Intel i3 530 CPU has integrated graphics. Below is a link reviewing the same motherboard with a similar Intel Clarkdale CPU: missingremote.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4489&Itemid=1The leading quote pretty much sums up the capabilities of the new Intel CPU and H55/H57 motherboards: "The family of processors code-named "Clarkdale" has sparked a great deal of interest since its existence and some basic performance information spread out across the web in late September. Teasing home theater PC (HTPC) enthusiasts with incredibly low power usage and built in HD codec bit streaming all packaged together with enough performance to tempt those in need of a full featured HTPC." It appears that a number of people are having difficulty getting this new platform to successfully bitstream the lossless codes to their AVRs. It's nice to see that the UMC-1 works.

Thanks, I just wanted to confirm you were using that rather than an add-in card. Cheers and good to know the built-in solution is working.
