I have an harmony 880. As of now I have the UMC set up to cycle through all the active sources to get to where it needs to be. Have direct inputs been addressed and how do I set the harmony up to use them? What I'm doing now works but is a pain in the butt. just wondering.

I have my 688 setup with the direct inputs that Harmony added to my account. If you reload the UMC-1 as another receiver/prepro you might see that the codes are added to the Harmony database. If not below is a link to a post by Emotiva with the hex codes. After setting up my 688 for use with the UMC-1 with the direct inputs it worked without a single problem . emotivalounge.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=preamps&action=display&thread=9361Edit: Mat's idea is a better one, no need to add the UMC-1 again . It worked that way for me as well. Bill

I just did this the other day, if you go to the menu to redo the setup of your device (UMC-1) the software should notify you that there are updates for the device. Answer yes to a couple of questions and let it overwrite the old codes. Update your remote and your good to go. At least that's what happened for me. Didn't have to redo the whole thing, which is why I put it off so long.
