After I plugged Popcorn Hour A-200 to UMC-1. UMC-1 remote doesn't work at all. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hey nmai, welcome to the forum!
Presumably you have tried a power cycle on the A-200 as well as the UMC-1?
Also, unplug the A-200 and see if the remote works again. If not, replace batteries in the remote and try again.
I believe there have been reports from others in the forum that have had success with the A-200 and the UMC so you may want to search for those posts and PM those members that can help you directly.
If all else fails, call Emotiva and they'd be happy to help sort this out. Good luck and don't forget to post here your resolution.

removed the A-200 then recycle power of UMC-1, but still doesn't work. for sure the batteries is still good.

But if I move the A-200 stuff away from UMC-1 for while then the remote will work normally. Don't have time to call Tech Support yet. Any ideas?

Update on this, my popcornhour A-200 remote works fine in conjuction with the UMC-1, but same as the C-200 users, no audio via HDMI.
lets hope for a firmware fix.

I called Emotiva and they sent me a new one very quickly. The weird thing was that the new remote worked, as in it sent out signals, but the UMC did not recognize it. It did recognize my Harmony One though. Not sure how or why that happened. I had to send my UMC back anyway, so I hope I get it back working as it should. |

Have you checked with popcorn's tech support to see if they have others with similar problems? Do you currently have their latest FW version installed?
Emotiva's latest FW version should be available VERY soon. Last night, Big Dan posted that it may be available as soon as later today. If not today, look for an update from Emotiva on the release of this FW.
