I came across a local dealer who will sell me the Yamaha RXV1065 for C$650 (plus usual donation to governments - 13%): www.yamaha.ca/av/Receivers/RXV1065.jspI'm thinking of using this "temporarily" (loosely defined to mean a few months to a few years) while waiting for UMC-1/XMC-1. The question is, would I be able to sell this for 80% of cost after a year? Do yammies keep their value? Thanks.

I just sold my 665 for about $20 less than what I paid for it a year ago. It just depends on the market at the time and finding that buyer who wants your receiver!! ;D
