Hi guys
The blue display on the UMC-1 is unreadable from 2-3 m distance - is it just me?
Best, Markus

Mine is about 12 ft away from what I am positioned and I can read it just fine. Do you have the display dimmed?

I believe it has 10 dim levels and on some of the dimmer settings it may not be bright enough. Try some of the brighter settings.

I can read mine fine, I sit aqbout 2-3 meters away and have it set at one of the middle settings. I even still have the protective mylar on the display panel.

Have no problem with displays in any other color. Only blue ones look blurry.
P.S. No, it's not dimmed and there's nothing in front of it.

I have complained about this twice now and was told they would get back with me but to no avail hopefully it will be addressed in the firmware update.

You may be near the edge of your sight power and the all-blue is just enough to be difficult to see. So yeah, maybe check the glasses.

I might actually suggest dimming it a notch or two and see if it is any easier to read.

Blue is the color of Love, and I never look to my component's front displays (I turn them all OFF if available), cause I'm watching a Movie or listening to Music. My eyes (looking only at the screen's action) & my ears tell me all I need to know, all that truly matters... * I love Blue. ...But when in Love it's all blurred to me, and simply faded into oblivion, lights dimming all over. ...And I'm in ecstasy! ;D Blue is the sky, the ocean; but Blues is the Soul of Life (good & bad). ...Can you read me clear enough, am I legible enough? Doubidoup doup doup...
